well as national and regional clients. He has been a newsman, staff member with several policy groups, senior executive with global public relations firms, and served with the U.S. Army. He has an MPA from Syracuse University and is a graduate of Providence College. He is the
founder of John Mallen Communications, Inc. that operates under the brand JMC Marketing Communications & PR. He lives in Kingston, NY with his wife Alexandra and their three dogs, providing occasional inspiration to their two granddaughters who live with their parents in Bearsville, NY.

Beth Price
Beth Price, a former classroom and online teacher with 20+ years experience with students of all ages, Beth now works as Marilyn's assistant, and pursues her writing passions. She is in the process of completing her first full-length novel, and a reading and writing curriculum for emergent/pre-literacy learners.
Adam Nadler
Adam Nadler is an award-winning screenwriter and independent filmmaker. His short films have been distributed by Tapestry International, aired on multiple overseas broadcasts, and screened at Lincoln Center’s first “Movies for Kids” series. His graduate thesis film, “Five Card Stud,” was supervised by Martin Scorsese, and his feature film, “Shoot George,” was an official selection of the Woodstock Film Festival; it also won the Best Narrative Feature Award at the Arlene’s Grocery Picture Show and was distributed by Cinemanow.com and Bside.com. Adam has taught filmmaking at the City College of New York and NYU’s School of Professional Studies, and is now a screenwriting mentor at the David Lynch MFA in Screenwritng program in Fairfield, Iowa. He is currently developing his comedy series about cancer, "Totally Sick."
Elizabeth Wiseman
Elizabeth Wiseman is a writer/producer, certified life coach, a finalist in the Academy of Motion Pictures’ prestigious Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, and Senior Curator and Judge for The Marilyn Horowitz / PANO Screenwriting Award and is working on a comedy pilot for network television. Elizabeth worked in education tutoring students and currently is a mentor in Girls Write Now, working one on one with young women in underserved communities to make their writing goals a reality. Elizabeth is Marilyn’s co-writer on “Word of the Day, Transform Your Writing in 15 Minutes a Day” and lead the 30 WOTD Facebook challenge.
