A Night to Celebrate Bad Girl Pie

Three weeks ago, I celebrated the launch of Bad Girl Pie with a book signing and tango party that brought together so many dear friends, readers, and fellow dancers. It was a magical evening filled with laughter, music, and movement. I enjoyed talking with guests about the inspiration behind Bad Girl Pie and how the tango, with all its passion and discipline, mirrors the lessons we learn in life about trust, perseverance, and boundaries.

For me, tango has always been more than a dance—it’s a way of living, a reminder to stay present, take chances, and move with grace even when life doesn’t go as planned.

The Webinar, Tango, and Bad Girl Pie

This past Wednesday, during my free bi-weekly webinar, we explored how to cope with chaos through writing and self-acknowledgement. We completed an exercise designed to serve as a touchstone—a simple, powerful way to restore peace, productivity, and perspective when life feels overwhelming. I’ll share more next week, but for now:

The Flavor of Rebellion

Bad Girl Pie book cover

Bad Girl Pie isn’t just a story—it’s a revolution on a plate. Beneath the sugar, the laughs, and the love affairs is something deeper: a woman rewriting her story on her own terms.

Here’s a taste from her point of view:

“I used to think love was like baking—you follow the recipe, measure carefully, and hope it rises. But love, like pie, is messy. Sometimes you have to throw your hands in the flour and make a glorious disaster.”

That’s the spirit of Bad Girl Pie: messy, daring, utterly delicious.

Recipe: Good Girl Apple Tart (Low-Carb, Keto)

Ingredients: almond flour, erythritol/monk fruit sweetener, butter, cinnamon, Granny Smith apples, lemon, nutmeg, sugar-free jelly.

Directions: Pre-bake crust, arrange apples, brush with spiced butter, bake, glaze, serve warm or chilled.

Think of it as the “good girl” companion to my novel’s “bad girl.” Which will you choose tonight?
