VENICE: Harry\’s Bar

The best two things about travel are the people and the food. Sure, the buildings and canals and bridges are spectacular but it\’s impossible to really experience them on a personal level, the way you can with a good meal and new friends.

Today I am going to the famous Harry\’s Bar (read the story here). In addition to dining at a place with so much history, I\’m also excited to be meeting there with a former student of mine. I worked with him remotely through three drafts of his novel and it\’s exciting to finally have the chance to meet him in person.
